האלון הזה הוא כוכב בשמורה של האלונים.
הוא ניצב במיקום אסטרטגי מול עיקול רחב של השביל, על במה של סלעים מעוטרת רקפות, ומוכיח שהטבע הוא הבמאי המושלם.
לפניו, גם כן מושלמת, יש רחבה נחמדה של דשא לשבת בה ולצייר אותו, אם תמצאו מקום בין האופניים של הרוכבים שעוצרים שם לשנ"ץ.
ישבתי שם עם חברה אהובה ביום נעים של סוף החורף, וציירנו ביחד.
היה יום מושלם.
#402 The Oak Tree
This tree is a local star.
Standing at a strategic location overlooking a wide curve in the path, on a stage of white rocks adorned by pink cyclamens, it proves Nature is the ultimate art director.
Right in front of it, also perfect, is a comfortable patch of grass, where you can sit to paint the perfect tree.
That is if you can find room there among the cyclists taking a power nap! LOL
I sat there one pleasant end-of-the-winter day, together with a beloved friend. We took out some cardstock and oil pastels and drew the tree.
It was a lovely day.
