הרקפות היו בשיא הפריחה, וחשבתי שאצייר מרבד של רקפות.
אבל אז שמתי לב שהענפים העירומים של העצים יוצרים טקסטורה דומה לזו של האבנים.
לפעמים לציור יש דעה משל עצמו לגבי מה יותר מעניין.
#107 Wintery Oak Forest with Cyclamens
The Cyclamens were at full bloom, and I thought I'd paint a carpet of purple flowers.
But then I noticed that the naked tree branches are creating a texture similar to that of the stones below.
Sometimes the painting has an opinion of its own about what's more interersting.
