Eight sessions in which we will learn the fundamentals of painting a typical Israeli landscape, with the light and colors characteristic of our local scenery.
Each pair of sessions will focus on a different type of landscape:

Jezreel Valley

The Seashore
-
The Desert
-
Urban landscape — Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, your choice.
We will learn how to start a painting, the basics of composition, creating the illusion of depth and three-dimensionality in a landscape, aerial perspective, color mixing, working from memory, and how to use reference photos correctly.
The studio course will be accompanied by a few outdoor painting sessions.
These are highly recommended but not mandatory, and will take place depending on weather conditions and the "situation."
